Description
The DxLIFE is a battery supplied data-logger with GSM-transmission. DxLIFE offers different accesses for contacts, (counting -) impulses and measurement signals, for example 0 ..1V/10VS; 0/4 ..20mAs. The power supply of the sensors works via DxLIFE, an additional power supply is not necessary. In order to optimize the energy needs, the internal clock (DCF77) allows the configuration of pre-determined scan dates and/or measure intervals. DxLIFE loggs the data the connected givers and sensors, stores and assesses them and solves alarm-
news over GSM per SMS/FAX / EMAIL/VOICE, at a control station or at DxNET, the internet
control station. The collected data are transferred in the end of a measuring period with
a GSM/GPRS-connection at a control station and are stored there in a data base. The
evaluation and visualisation of the data also takes place there. Scan dates, signal
descriptions, transfer-intervals and much more are fixed with the configuration-software .
In order to admit changes or retrievals of distance, the appliance can be switched on to
certain times. With the standard-battery, temperatures or level-stands can be collected up
to five years hourly for example and transferred to a control station weekly. With
accordingly big energy, an on-line-transfer of the collected data is possible. A
particular DxLIFE implementation with a serial interface allows the connection and the
readout of the data from data-loggers and transferring via GSM/GPRS to pre-determined
times at a control station.
